This will have enormous ramifications for Bitcoin in the coming years. Normies won’t get the nuances. The mainstream knows Adam Back as the big Bitcoin guy. And they won’t know or care some Bitcoiners called him out before this fiasco unfolded. This is probably the biggest PR disaster in Bitcoin history, outshining even the crackdown on the Silk Road. It’s going to be a painful bear market.
Hilarious how desperate you are, building a theory based upon an assumption that someone would mistype "Adam" as "Andy." Regardless, all of your strained ad hominems are irrelevant in the context of the spam debate. Adam's reputation, whether it be good or bad, has no bearing upon the debate. This is all just cannon fodder for your delicious drama vlogging 😘
Unless you're innocent, then the best move would be a little different, don't you think? It's actually game theoretically poor once you get past the first level... I now see your next post too though ha, so I was not enough levels deep to understand your point. But it sounds like Adam's pretty deep and something also sounds like he might benefit from saying something. I wonder if his lawyers are advising him on what to say and not to say yet.
Rubin was corresponding as late as 2017 in an incredibly familiar way, which makes semse, since Epstein funded DCI+MIT Media Lab. The emails I read are super dry, like a status report to someone Rubin feels professionally beholden to. Epstein had 9 years distance from his 2008 conviction at that point, but people don't really appreciate what a nothing burger it was treated like. His sentence was super lenient, and even when he was imprisoned, his cell was left unlocked. Nobody seemed to gave a shit, and it's easy to see how, if Epstein is your benefactor, and everyone seems to be pretty cool acting like the that child prostitution thing was all blown out of proportion, then why not continue the beneficial relationship? This appears like a collective lapse of judgement (a really weird, major one) than a specific one of Rubin's part.
Kind of chewing on this, and there is an alternative explanation. Right now, there is very little incentive to explain oneself. Think about the case of a woke moral purge. Does the mob stop pressing when they get an apology? Would Luke and Matt Kratter and the mob behind them actually back down, if they got a clear explanation or apology from Back and Jeremy Ruben or Bryan Bishop? Would the tech press suddenly stop ragging on bitcoin as GoyGold?
Bitcoiners realising that Blockstream has been an undercover operation actually funded by TradFi (Mastercard, AXA, Linkedin) that duped most in the community and even some close to the company. As a Bitcoiner of 2010 I tell you that most of you lacked critical distance in order to properly: Do not trust. Verify! Agencies mostly go for psychological factors they identify as weaknesses. Everybody has those. But if one side has basically all the knowledge about how to psychologically infiltrate and manipulate one while the other side/group has no idea they become an easy target. The thing I need to tell you is. TradFi have captured the whole market (sorry, but including BTC) to a degree that they can and NEED to blow it all up now. They have Digital ID and CBDCs ready. Cash almost phased out while they controlled Monero for the last 6 years. If they don't move now Monero will become digital cash endangering their agenda. That's why you see them doing the reveals themselves now. A PsyOp is like an intel asset that lost its value. You get rid of it as fast as you can while spinning the news cycle.
