How do I use a web browser on graphene without traffic forced through orbot? Tor breaks a lot of sites and apps and makes them unusable. Turning off whole device VPN and only selecting which apps orbot doesn't work bc then they aren't allowed to use internet... Biggest hurdle on grapheme for me, on calyx in don't have these problems.
It was really helpful! I especially like the app recommendations. Many I had heard of but many were new to me. I did get tripped up trying to use Safari and Firefox at first. It felt dirty having to use Chrome and I saw your note that “Chrome, Edge or Brave will work fine” but maybe if it said “You have to use a Chromium browser” it would’ve saved me a few minutes. Thanks for the great resource!
Is there a good or recommended way to backup or transfer your settings for apps if you're still on stock android? I've been using my phone for 2 years and would like an easy way to backup and restore some things on the graphene side without having to start from scratch.

I'm not aware of anything for global settings like that. Some apps will have their own backup that's tied to a recovery phrase or account, but of course that's on a per-app basis. Take the step as an opportunity to prune your digital footprint and cut ties with the services you don't really need/use.
