That is not even the biggest issue, the real problem is that cars have an autonomous internet connection so they can be remotely programmed to do anything. Thats actively hostile and a privacy risk. Imagine they decide you cant drive more than X kilometers per month for the climate and the cars get an update that disables them when that is reached. Stuff like that is not possible with an offline car, which is why people shouldnt buy cars with internet connectivity.
