Sats is four letters why do we need a symbol?

Because branding and esthetics are important

Change dollars to a D and use $ as the symbol for Satoshis

Yeah, come to think of it, the word cents is probably more used than the ¢ symbol in writing at least from what I have seen. Why do even need a special symbol for sats, sats is already the shorterned version of the word.

sure.. or simply use ₿, the symbol everyone on planet earth already recognizes as Bitcoin and creates zero confusion!

Really? The green bar which is scrolling seems to be indicative of a loading bar. It's showing the transactions are synced and traveling from one wallet to another. It also shows confirmation of funds sent by being green. It's an improvement over the OG WoS animation imo.

Yeah I don't see the need for stuff like that too in most cases but as far as wallets and UX go... WoS is by far the easiest and simplest wallet to get normies and newbs onboard the orange train. The more simple bullshit we throw in most lightning/bitcoin wallet apps for the average end user (a complete moron), the better I feel. There is nothing quite like sending sats to someone standing next to you and them receiving a big ass notification that tells them they got sats. It's just visually appealing and makes your heart warm lol. Not sure what/which bug you're talking about, is this happening to you when sending over lightning? I sometimes get that where it says its sending... but the other side receives it and confirms it. I just quit WoS and relaunch it in that case but yeah it's fustrating. Only been happening to me on my iOS and recently. Usually when I'm on a VPN (mullvad).

Yeah this bug is in for many years now. Especially when you show it to new people it seems to happen.

The only use I can think of is paying for general AI LLM usage using your sats. But then you would have to create a mobile app when you could just visit multiple sites that already exist and utilize lightning and nostr.

Unlike devs of pretty much any other wallet, (including Phoenix) they have never done any interviews or have any other online presence AFAIK. Also, they also had a hard dependency on Google Play Services last time I checked. There is also now information out saying theirlatedst announcement of them going non-custodial is just a play on words. WoS? No thanks.
