Watched Buffy the vampire slayer (1992) a horror/comedy/action directed by Fran Rubel Kuzui. Buffy, a high school cheerleader, meets a mysterious man named Merrick who tells her that she's the "chosen one" who's destined to kill vampires. She doesn't want to at first but ends up training with Merrick in order to slay a powerful vampire King. With the help of an outcast, Buffy has to save her classmates and accept her role. I have mixed feelings about this one. I wanted to like it because the show is so good. It's much better than the movie. The actress playing Buffy is a terrible casting (Kristy Swanson). Probably casted because she has a background in gymnastics and swimming. A lot of the combat scenes made absolutely no sense. She would do a few cartwheels before attacking, to showcase the athleticism. Just made it look less credible. The vampires also didn't look scary at all. Just fake teeth and makeup. Watch the show don't watch the movie. 5.5/10 #nodereviews

This movie is pure camp. It's supposed to be funny and rilediculous, not realistic. You didn't even mention Peewee Herman's death scene, which is the high point of the entire film.
Kids these days... Now pardon me while I go yell at some clouds
I didnβt know there were realistic vampire movies π
One of my favorite Paul Rubens roles. Agreed, this is campy comedy, like a Adam Sandler vampire movie. Meant to be ridiculous and dumb.
I donβt have to like the movie just because that fag did π
I don't think I implied that. People can and should have different opinions on art, otherwise the world would be awfully boring.
I never said you did. Did you see what he replied π
