In San Jose del Cabo there is a pretty cool gallery that features sculpture from Sotomayor. He takes junk and spare parts and welds animals out of them and then uses an epoxy resin to color them. They hold up very well outdoors, keeping their color for many years. Here is a peacock he recently made. Zoom in to see the items he used.
