If AI becomes as smart as people then why can't they replace us?
There is not one AI. It can also be dispersed and centralized. Other people also don't know the subjective value scales inside our own minds. What stops the AI from performing the same trial and error market process to discover that?

It would be really useful to be able to have a max limit on how much any one person's posts shows up in our feed per day.
It could select their top N posts for the day or choose them at random.
There are some accounts I enjoy, but not enough that they flood out everyone else in my feed.

Same logic: "If we don't comply to terrorists' demands, then why do we act surprised when they want to cause violence."
There are good reasons to help our fellow Man but this ain't it chief.
