My umbrel node has been broken for a YEAR, just because I wanted to upgrade hardware.
Previous setup was raspberry pi 4 + external SSD.
I wanted to upgrade to a pi 5 with an NVME.
SO I DID. And have been having major issues ever since. Apparently the NVME connector is shit for the (expensive) case I got and the issue was simply unstable I/O.
Finally had enough and upgraded to a lenovo thinkcentre mini.
Finally up and running again, everything is stable and I can once again rely on my own node for onchain and lightning transactions and that feeling is just epic.
