The ring begins from the centre and expands to includes the periphery. Essentially serving as the framework. A framework made out of silicon, electromagnetic infrastructure. The framework expands through cognition relays (nostr technologies), exchaging the knowledge necessary to grow the framework to include all peripheries. Nostr is the management of data transmission in a splinternet ring system.
Loading 4 of the SAIF mag had me thinking about how civilisations are essentially deep operating systems. How the different nodes of Islamicate draw from local geography and history to form distinct methods of technology and engineering. Viewing STEM through the lens of cosmotechnics as Yuk Hui argues. Thinking about sharing my thoughts on how can this fit in within a wider Ummatic Splinternet framework, exploring the relationship between the centre and the peripheries.
As things stand with GAE's increasingly colonial objectives in MENA. The question isn't whether increased military spending is enough for the survival of the regimes in the region. The question is what does survival look like to different regional actors . UAE and others in the Gulf saw this in the 2010's and completely hedged their bets with rented sovereignty becoming a direct extension to GAE. Building a cyber state effective in lulling population and providing GaaS. Hence becoming an important component in GAE's machine. Gaining control of USCENTCOM as soon as possible will be the endpoint that Israel wants to actualise Greater Israel and beyond with regional partners such as UAE providing economic support. They realise time is running out, especially with powers such as Turkey, Syria and potentially Egypt eventually gaining the ability to contest Israeli aerial superiority. Given the internal political climates of the three nations above, survival becomes paramount
The Helix is the best analogy of Time from an Islamic perspective. Not linear but directional. It is a spiral entropically descending into chaos. "The best people are those of my generation, then those who come after them, then those after them" image
"What disrupted this long-standing pattern was the emergence of Modern Techno-Industrial (MTI) society. This was not merely a new phase in economic production or political organisation, but a radical departure from all previous modes of existence. It introduced entirely new forms of energy capture, technological innovation, and systems of knowledge production. Crucially, MTI society managed, at least temporarily, to decouple population growth from the harsh checks of nature. Scientific medicine blunted the impact of disease. Mechanised agriculture and synthetic fertilisers pushed back the spectre of famine. Industrial-scale warfare became more devastating, but also more restrained by political and technological means. For the first time in the species’ history, H. sapiens had constructed a system powerful enough to hold back the ancient forces of collapse. But whether that system is stable, sustainable, or survivable in the long term remains an open question." - Philippe Bridau, The Metabolism of Techno Industrial Society
Master the technology you need to master and don’t let it master you. Then make something only you could make, that would go to the grave with you if you didn’t make it. Go build your New Florence in the forgotten places. - James Taylor Foreman
