What really bothers me is that most of the crises and difficulties people suffer from are entirely artificial and preventable. We literally have enough food, water, building materials, energy, and other essential goods in the world that everyone would be able to live a life of dignity. But like, by sheer political choice that is just not the case. And that like, actually makes me quite upset.

I think more people should internalize just how much Rust is being carried by its diagnostics system. And then apply those learnings. No but like seriously: without Rust's diagnostics there is just no way it would have been able to escape research project status. Let alone be able to attract the community it has.
