What are the repercussions of auditing Fort Knox? (Good and Bad) Assuming the gold is not there or less than what they have been saying is in there: Does the average American care or even know what it means? Does the faith I'm the dollar or America get crushed in the macro landscape? Does it wake some people up finally to the idea that their money isn't backed by anything? I'm struggling to see how any of this would be a win for the current administration or am I missing something. I'm all for auditing, as most of us here know its probably a lie of what we have been told is in there, but from a political standpoint, what is the play if the gold isn't there. What's the next move, how is this to their advantage?
