Something we emphasized on the first episode of the Bitcoin for Financial Services podcast is that Bitcoin isn’t a product. It’s infrastructure as a monetary network and savings technology as hard money for individuals and small businesses.

Many businesses are starting to take bitcoin payments through @square and @ZapriteApp without fully thinking it through. The second you accept bitcoin, it becomes income you have to track from a P&L and cost basis standpoint. Taking bitcoin is easy. Keeping it clean on the back end is the hard part.
