It's been shown that we're generally not that great at logical thinking.
It took over 100,000 years for Homo to evolve. But Venn diagrams didn't appear until less than 150 years ago. The four-element Venn diagram only came about less than 50 years ago, and the connection with prime numbers has only really been understood for the last 20 years.
Even worse is the 'built-in coding' within certain cultural groups. When expressing time in months, they use a vertical coordinate system like 'up' (上) and 'down' (下); yet when shifting to days, they switch to a horizontal coordinate system of 'forward' (前) and 'back' (后).
More troubling still, two entirely distinct markers, '明' and '昨', are interposed between them. However, there never ever be '昨月'.
