A Gardenless Gardener; The One Who Plants The Gardens of Light.
The Moneyless Man is a non-fiction autobiographical account of Mark Boyle’s experiment in living without money for a full year. image Boyle was a former businessman who chose to reject money to reconnect with basic human needs, community, and nature. The book combines storytelling with practical observations, philosophical reflection, and tips for a simpler, less money-dependent life. Boyle grew increasingly critical of consumerism and the environmental and social harms caused by the modern monetary system. Believing that money shaped human relationships and distorted priorities, he decided to live entirely without spending or using money for a year to test whether a fulfilling life was possible outside the #economy. Before beginning, he made a few one-off purchases β€” like a solar panel, a bike, and a wood-burning stove β€” to enable a self-reliant life. He closed his bank accounts and committed himself to relying instead on ingenuity, nature, human generosity, and barter. One of the deepest lessons Boyle describes is a renewed trust in people; Without money as an intermediary, he had to ask, trade, negotiate, share, and cooperate, which deepened local human connections. He found community support was often more reliable than any bank account. Beyond the diary narrative, Boyle explores why money dominates modern life. He argues that money alienates humans from nature, community, and meaning. Money creates artificial #scarcity and competition, discouraging #cooperation and increasing #isolation. A moneyless trial shows that many human needs are social and ecological rather than financial. #Bitcoin #Nostr #Permaculture #Grownostr #Money #Garden

Decentralized systems must be combined by #Bitcoin community to build a better future for our kind. image Here are some examples of decentralized libertarian systems I know: - Nature - Bitcoin - #Permaculture - Culture - Peer to peer services - Working groups - #Market - #Nostr If #Bitcoiners focus on services to ease the projects of other systems, a rhizomatic network emerges. It will be truely unstopable. It's getting late, #CBDC s are coming. We should build new circles and meet new ones. Bitcoin is potential enough to be more than a digital asset. It has a kind of essence to revolutionize our future.
#Daisugi is a traditional #Japanese #forestry technique that originated in #Kyoto during the 14th century. image It involves pruning the upper branches of #Cryptomeria trees to encourage the growth of straight, knot-free shoots from a single tree, creating a #sustainable source of high-quality lumber without cutting down the entire tree. This method allows for multiple harvests over centuries, producing dense and flexible timber ideal for traditional Japanese #architecture. #Permaculture #Grownostr #Garden #Nostr #Bitcoin
A #bug hotel, also known as an insect hotel, is a manmade structure designed to provide #shelter for beneficial insects. image Typically made from #wood, #bricks, or other materials, these hotels consist of various sections that offer nesting opportunities, especially during winter. They attract #pollinators and other insects crucial for #ecosystem #health, serving as both nesting and hibernation aids. Bug hotels can vary in size and design, making them suitable for #gardens of any size, including balconies. #Bitcoin #Nostr #Grownostr #Gardening #Permaculture #Grow_or_Die
