Claude code is a real game changer. No matter how much I’ve used it the past few months it still blows my mind. Been writing software for over 20 years now (crazy to think because I’m not a grey-beard) but never made a mobile app until yesterday. Within 3 hours I went from idea, to desktop app, to complete rewrite in Swift and deployed on my phone. It’s a fairly simple idea that solves some important problems for me when traveling but the app is nontrivial. Doing this in 2021 would have taken me months easily and the quality would’ve been much worse. It relies on some open weight models so maybe not even possible back then. If I had known the UI/UX up front it would’ve taken me half an hour. This is the era for entrepreneurs.
