"Strange" how we're never taught much of anything about how women, who were unable to vote, got men to pass a goddamn Constitutional Amendment to allow them to vote.
Extra spicy take:
Any prescription drug should be sold with informed consent. Yes, even the "bad" drugs. Bodily autonomy is more important than handcuffing people "for their protection".
Doctors as gatekeepers make the whole doctor/patient relationships adversarial rather than a collaborative process to making people healthier.
Sometimes it's easy for me to forget as a very well paid engineer that there's a whole shit load of people trying to raise families on minimum wage or less.

Have a person you like to follow, but they boost a ton of stuff you don't like? Click their profile, go into their menu (like where you would block them) and there's a hide Boosts button.
It's legit made it possible for me to not unfollow people entirely when they boost too much irritating or triggering or whatever content.
