Opposing AI art on spiritual grounds is an idealist error because true artistic value stems from material intent, not the tool. The real conflict is not over aesthetics but control of new technology. The necessary praxis is not rejection in form of futile liberal gestures like boycotts, but developing open-source models to socialize these tools, wresting them from capitalist control and placing them in the hands of the many.
