The ending of Jan Smut's immigration plan post-WWII is perhaps the greatest mishap of South Africa. It makes me cry at night knowing that we never got a South African superpower due to fears of a growing centre-right political party. A 2:1 white coloured ratio of the country as opposed to a 1:5 would've preserved the nation throughout its degeneration of Apartheid from Balkanization to nominal segregation.
@Junes your country's opulence steps on the glory of South Africa, a nation which frankly had much more potential than Terra Australis, with its fair climate, burgeoning natural resources, and superior location relative to Europe.
