Swapped out the s9 in my ventilation system for a NerdQAxe Hydro rev 6. Pretty simple swap, just used the same duct adapters from the s9 either side of the radiator.
Now getting the same heat input but over 5x the hash rate
A belated Happy New Year nostr! I’m starting off the year with a heat punk experiment, attempting a DIY positive input ventilation system with an S9 for heating.
If you haven’t heard of PIV systems before, it’s basically a fan blowing air from the loft into the house creating positive pressure. In theory this helps reduce damp issues in old houses by reversing drafts and reducing humidity.
The water heating project with the S19 is on the back burner while I find a heating engineer
