Another year around the sun. Happy birthday to me. A lonely one, on the other side of the world, but my first one with my son - so very special, it is.

Nothing has radicalised me more than becoming a mother.
Seeing what Whites are going through all over the world, especially Europe - the sheer betrayal by our governments and indifference from the general public - is so beyond shocking and horrifying. Our children are being murdered, raped, assaulted and bullied whilst dimwits re-elect the same cowards who continue to invite these soulless monsters in.
I seriously cannot understand it. I cannot comprehend how you, especially as a mother, could keep voting for the same politicians.
Your instinct to protect your child is broken, and you are a failure of a mother. You are brain-dead. You are disgusting. You are my enemy.
I look at my child, and I know deep within my bones that if anyone ever laid a hand on him - something ancient and feral would awaken in me - I would raise hell. IWFKY.
I say again, motherhood has radicalised me.

Since becoming a mother, Iโve been in absolute awe of women and what we are capable of. For nearly a year, our bodies craft hearts, brains and tiny fingernails - built from our own blood, bone and being. We throw up, we fatigue, we stretch, we swell, we ache.
Then birth - raw, primal, sacred. We tear, we bleed, we cry, we experience unbelievable pain.
โA woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the worldโ - John 16:21
Then we breastfed. We have sore nipples, we are hormonal, we are sleep deprived, we worry endlessly for our babies - their warmth, their safety, their future. We are a thousand emotions at once, but we keep going. Because we are women, we are mothers.
Itโs clear to me that the catty men who say things like โwomen have life on easy modeโ have never experienced a woman move through pregnancy, birth and motherhood. If they had, theyโd know: this is not easy, it is the hardest, most selfless, most important work in the world.
The journey of maiden to mother is the ultimate surrender. The ultimate sacrifice that somehow doesnโt even feel like sacrifice.
We birth. We bleed. We feed. We endure.
We love.
I am in awe of women, and what we are capable of. I love being a mother. I did not know I had this all in meโฆthis ancient wisdom, this strength, patience, stamina and perseverance. It is all just so deeply beautiful.

My son arrived safely into his dadโs arms a few days ago, at home, on our bed. We are so delightedโฆblessed beyond measure.
Every dream Iโve ever had came true the moment I held him.
