My go-to breakfast sandwich. Sourdough english muffin with grass fed butter, smoked gouda cheese, applewood smoked bacon, local pasture raised egg over-medium and spinach and arugula on top. I eat it at least a couple times a week or more.
Vitamin D is another major nutrient deficiency. You get 10,000 - 25,000 IU from just 30 minutes of sun exposure on your arms and legs, not even your whole body. Supplements provide only a fraction of that. You’re almost certainly deficient in vitamin d. My personal theory is that a lot of “health issues” that people experience could be remedied by just getting enough sun n their skin.
Magnesium.
Another day, another conversation with someone about how their “health issues” are really just a magnesium deficiency.
Aching lower back. Trouble sleeping. Constipation.
Here, take this magnesium citrate.
The next day: Wow! How did you know that would help so much?
Estimates are that 50% of the U.S. population is deficient in magnesium but I argue that it’s much higher.
I haven’t gotten around to filling out my bio yet. I’m a very busy person. I’m really into food and bio-chemistry. So, you’ll see me post about that quite a bit.
On that note, I just wanted to say that you should eat kimchi, sauerkraut and real fermented pickles fairly often. I think that those foods are overlooked by a lot of people. Eating those foods will really help you maintain health.
