Antizionism is a hate ideology which is distinct from classical antisemitism. Rather than hating Jews for who they are, antizionists extend collective blame to all Israelis (and often to many Jews) via endless repetition of libels. It’s time to stop pretending that antizionist hate speech and criticism of Israel are the same thing; they’re not. One is a civil right, the other is ugly racism.
Raising money to alleviate suffering in #Gaza is in-and-of-itself a Noble thing. Running a charity is hard work, and mistakes happen all the time. Aral, I know we've had our disagreements. When you discover someone has stolen from your donors, do not give them your "blessing." 1) Make a best effort to recover the stolen funds, to fulfill your donor's wishes. 2) Apologize to the accounts trying to help, to warn you about this. Well, that’s just too bad — according to this “Fabio” character you have no right to. Even members of the pro @palestine group community, much of which is NOT #antisemitic, ought to be wary. Such “allies” can drag down your entire movement. image
