I can't imagine a better analogy for environmental bolshevism than their condemnation of cement. Cement is one of the most foundational (pun intended) materials in civilization, literally the conception of form over void in the material world, and it is being condemned as damaging to the planet. Some people would choose the void over the form, I guess.
