One of the best things I've found since I started contributing to OSS software is that I'm using my skills to scratch an itch. Sometimes it's mine. Sometimes it's someone else's. But there's always a human being (or sometimes more) that directly benefit from the changes I'm making. This is why I got into software engineering. @npub1lyn6...ve6v Can I give you a feature request? Allow us to change the visibility of posts via edit. If the visibility is changed do the "delete & edit" behind the scenes. It would be a better user experience!

I keep forgetting how to write 51, 6, and 500 in roman numerals. I am livid!

Goals for the not too distant future (because life and all that mean I can't say when I'll actually get to it but if I put it here maybe it'll serve to help me actually get to them!) 1. Try out uv for setting up a venv and doing everything I need for a project. 2. Using @npub19f7h...27k6 's SpiderWeb framework to create a URL shortener (I know the logic so this is more to play with the framework.) Wish me luck!
