Trump is set to announce plans today from Mar-a-Lago for a new fleet of large warships that he plans to label “battleships,” as part of his vision for a “Golden Fleet.” The announcement will be made alongside Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Secretary of the Navy John Phelan, according to a U.S. official and another source familiar with the discussions who spoke to The Wall Street Journal.

Israel warned the Trump administration over the weekend that an ongoing missile exercise and other unusual movements by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) could be preparations for an attack on Israel, according to three Israeli and U.S. sources familiar with the matter who spoke to Axios.
