The Virgin Mary, chosen by God, conceived Jesus through the Holy Spirit. An angel appeared to her, announcing she would bear the Son of God, and she humbly accepted. She traveled to Bethlehem with Joseph, where Jesus was born. She was present at the foot of the cross during Jesus' crucifixion and remained a steadfast follower after His resurrection.

Joseph was born in 1568 in Macedonia. He lived an ascetic life from a young age. He was tonsured a monk at Partoş Monastery. His humility and wisdom led to his election as Metropolitan of Timişoara. Despite his high office, he continued to live a life of simplicity and prayer, known for his charity and defense of the Orthodox faith. When the plague struck, Joseph ministered to the sick and dying. After a life of devotion, he reposed peacefully in 1656, his relics becoming a source of healing and comfort.
Let us pray to #Saint Joseph to intercede for us, that we may be granted strength in times of hardship and guided toward a life of #virtue and #faith. May his example inspire us to acts of #charity.
