I've just posted my Annual Report, highlighting my favourite albums, gigs and books of 2025. I decided on no links to streaming services, or reviews this year. I spend ages working out different ways of saying "I love this album!”, describing the music and gathering links to Spotify/Apple Music. This year, you're just getting a grid of album covers with links to Bandcamp! Ho ho ho!

Wordpress folks: I have a client that is steadfastly WP, and currently uses Elementor, which for someone who loves the cascade, minimal scripting and clean code is absolute torture. Is there a better process that I can get them to use? In the past I've experienced Gutenberg being painfully slow with very long text pages. Maybe it’s better now? Not looking for a 'no code' solution, but control over code with good page preview. No shit-tonne of injected scripts, divs and styles to override.

Those mornings when I force myself to eat porridge instead of eggs, are the mornings where I'm hungry again by 10:00am 🤨
