Vor dem bundesweiten Protesttag gegen die Wehrdienst-Pläne der Bundesregierung hatte Niedersachsens Kultusministerin Julia Willie Hamburg (Grüne) die Schüler in Niedersachsen ermahnt, sich an schulrechtliche Vorgaben zu halten. Der 5. Dezember sei in Niedersachsen ein normaler Schultag – kein schulfreier Tag oder Ferientag.
