A few months ago one of the neighbours put some frangipani off cuts out on the verge for bulk rubbish collection- me being me saw some potential shade plants and scooped them up and put them in the ground. They were in pretty poor condition and despite being torn out a couple of times by meddling passers-by, they're finally showing signs of life! Just goes to show, with the right care, being put in the right place and having another go despite numerous setbacks, there's alwaus an opportunity to grow and to bloom! #grownostr #garden #AUStriches #permacultire #newlife #secondchances #weekend #resilience #comeback #keepgoing

So as of the 10th of December 2025 Australia made a "law" stating that under 16s couldn't be on certain social media platforms. They did this under the pretence of "protecting kids" but anyone capable of critical thinking knows it's the thin end of the wedge for more and more control for the powers that shouldn't be and less freedom for us. Fortunately despite the wave of boot licking in recent years, the Aussie larrikin spirit lives on and kids are not just working their way around these "laws" but they're finally trolling and roasting the politicians that tried to shut them down. Keep it up kids, grubberment isn't your friend, they deserve your contempt and ridicule. After all they're the biggest bullies out there! Every time the powers that shouldn't be ban something because they think it will solve a problem, they create black markets and work arounds because in the end, good people break bad laws! Just look at prohibition - it created a massive underworld and the Feds enforcing it killed more people by poisoning alcohol than the alcohol did! This shows a couple of things, government over reach doesn't work and people will find or make a way around it, and government thugs will stop at nothing to enforce their policies.
