I'm not scared and happy to share my thoughts on 2026 year publicly. This year was the most nervous and harshest since 2020. Poverty, uncertainty and hardship of finding a job with which I can live more than a slave with the only end. Several doubts if I do thing in right and optimal way in big and hard tasks without certain boundaries in a legacy system. While I was doing these things, my motivation was bumpy, sometimes going to extremes of "I won't do job today, it's completely worthless" and "I can implement this right and quickly because it's very fun and complex". Several electric blackouts, rent price increasing, eshurt blockades. When these waves combined into polycrisis moments, I went to think that my life is completely worthless. But every time I was close to the darkness, it felt that the Angel woke me up. Since this I have released that life still has meaning, until you literally has nothing to pursue your own path for your credo/(para-)ego. That's also why open communities and personalization simultaneously matters, like what I have found in Nostr. Thank you very much, guys! You are cute, cool, smart, strong and kind! You post interesting stuff valuable for learning. However, the journey was interesting for me. I became more like a cat person, sleeping longer hours per day (siestas for warm months and longer monophasic sleeps in colder months). I has fallen in love for playing chess with myself. Sometimes lucid dreams happened with which did like watching and acting in episodes. I has gained clearer understanding from software practice in why freedom is different from anarchy, why harmony and love is different from obedience and complete passivity. It is a time when even autistic person like me needed to break a doubt wall towards more sociability and integrate it with existing logical, mechanistic, probabilistic, fuzzy thinking styles. I started to maintain my own relay, modified it to make Nostr more interesting and prosperous. Kinda meta-game. Merry Christmas and Happy 2026 year! I wish you peaceful, fun and interesting 2026 year. Make handcrafted stuff, make open source, self-host Nostr relays, your sites and AI models, participate in discoveries, keep your peace and curiosity. Only all the gods of the Universe know what is right, starting from the lowest levels and going further in infinitely open nature towards love. Time to extend (meta-)thinking to emergentism and multivariate/open reductionism. Forgot FOMO and cons retardation, chill, have a fun and do right thing =^.^= P.S. Remember SOPA, PIPA and ACTA back in 2011-2013. They were threatening shared media and then the entire Internet. They did not happen...
I developed my first pet-project in 2017. It's an arcade Unity game with custom level maps, logic of collecting items etc ( ). In the previous year I made interactive YTPs and I was more into crafting videos and animations. However I started my web dev career in 2019. It's interesting to see how hobbies can predate the next epoch. #blog #life #slowlife #softwareengineer #programming
Many people may ask something like: "how does cooking relate to programming which is your career and passion? how does your philosophical speech relate to it either?". Actually side hobbies help me in developing programming skills, when current abstract understanding hits a wall. For example, cooking activated more clarity for multitasking/parallel programming in me. Idk how this works. Brain is wonderful. And philosophical posts are a form of reflection and leisure. And reflection is essential to understand software development at different levels: from coding to architecture to business. Not everything is effectively implemented solely at code or architecture level tho. #blog #thoughts #programming #softwaredevelopment #softwareengineering #hobbies #leisure

1-2 years ago I was working on an artistic pet-project which aimed to be catalogue of various pharmacy products. This was kinda mixed art with unique design, easter eggs and custom perfomance-oriented back-end. I developed various utilities and services during development of the project. You can read about them in my Medium: https://medium.com/@jzx777 #programming #craftprogramming #art #frontend #backend #web
1. Work should be ecologic for humans as creative and explorative beings which live as long as they essentially can. 2. So the best code which solves a given (real or imaginary/perspective) problem, is no written code. If this solution for given problem exists. 3. Periodicity of multiple patterns/modes is a mitigation of negative effects of the Goodhart’s law. “Work hard” and “follow easy path” are also patterns with limits. 4. So write less boilerplate “monkey” code, write more business-related and engineering code which provides you a solid basis for future development without energy draining mundane work. #blog #programming #softwareengineering #work
