I've been thinking lately that AI didn’t really create the content overload, it just made it undeniable. We’re at peak entertainment. Even the "classics" could fill your lifetime. I have no reason to spend money on any new entertainment. There is so much for me to catch up on already.
Just another case of closed-source, centralized apps ignoring users. Spotify fans have been asking for a light mode for over a decade which ought to be an easy feature to implement. But when control and data are locked behind corporate, centralized walls then users are powerless.
