Listening to @walker pod with Mauricio, if the US got in the slightest bit afraid the dollar would be crushed by #Bitcoin, if the US noticed citizens dumping their dollars for #Bitcoin on a large enough scale, they would absolutely do the same as Venezuela 🇻🇪 the US authorities would implement a nationwide compulsory register of nodes, all mining facilities would be taken by the state, mstr and all corn on exchanges gone to the state. It would be surprising to some how quick this could occur but citizens of Cuba 🇨🇺 and Venezuela 🇻🇪 wouldn't be surprised at all.
Core vs Knots seems to be reaching the conclusion period Bell curve meme incoming
One thing that cooked my noodle was.... Forget the millions of BTC already mined The remaining BTC to be mined is stretched over a centurical period, the timechain is already a foreseeable inevitability. This gives the ability to forsee, to plan, to envisage. There is no volatility, only scheduled inevitability.

So this is not a complaint about #Amethyst but back in the day, your follow feed was very subtle and calm, you knew where you were with it But when you went on Global 😵‍💫 oh my days, it was just loading note after note automatically! Like a conveyer belt of filth!! Whereas now, the follow feed is automatically loading, and although it's not filth, well some of my follows are very naughty 😜 the vast majority is high quality H20 but it just keeps loading, more and more 🤣🤣 #Nostr is evolving and it's come a long way from the old days of pasting an ln invoice for a zap, remember that! Love to see it, credit to all the client dev OGs and #Bitchat geomesh integration with #Nostr is taking off 🚀 props to @jack for casually vibe coding that 👏
@Vitor Pamplona I've updated via zapstore and I'm on play version, I'm assuming this is normal. Only reason I noticed was the auto translate was available, where it wasn't before on fdroid

One thing that always stays with me, is even Satoshi could not solve the problem for when you are exchanging Bitcoin for goods and services. Either the seller has to hand the product or service over momentarily before receiving payment. Or the buyer has to pay the seller momentarily before receiving the product. A quick AI search for this phenomenon reveals it as 'The Trust Dilemma' And the only way, we so far have been able to paper over the cracks, is by using escrow. But escrow's are centralised honeypots which are controlled by one side of the party, revealing the trust dilemma once again.
