Well it’s Groundhog Day, again.
I wonder how LLMs are going to change our common language. I think you already see signs of it: politicians and other public figures inserting swear words into whatever shit they’re selling to make it seem more authentic rather than something pooped out of whatever LLM the intern is using.
I picked the wrong time to post long, well thought out questions and observations to the world. Nobody is going to care what I think.
Wait, nobody is gonna care what I think! Awesome!
The worst, most despicable capitalist in the world still must provide something that someone wants in exchange for some fee. What must the worst socialist do?
I’ve been seeing a widening tech gap for ages. There is a large segment of society that doesn’t want, or care, or think they need to leverage AI. Most may just be in a position where they simply must choose between living without AI now or potentially starving with it later) and instead are waiting for it to be spoon fed to them by corporations à la GUI operating systems and web browsers. If it happens again, if the innovation is captured, I wonder if the wealth gap gets wider? The rising tide will lift all boats, eventually, but time continues to be scarce and I’m not certain if the wealth gaps don’t get worse before they (maybe) get better.
