@Zap Cooking update is live. 🔥 We rebuilt the categories experience and made it the new landing page, now called Explore. From Explore you can browse recipe categories, discover popular cooks, and see recent recipe additions from the past few months. The goal is to make discovery feel natural and useful the moment you land on the site. We also simplified the layout overall and added a clearer path to the shop so everything feels more focused. As we continue making small adjustments to improve the site, a big thanks to @The Daniel 🖖 for working through the details behind the scenes and helping refine the UX. More improvements are on the way 🤙
I am addicted to Nostr and finding ways to build community with purpose. Today I built a new Nostr client with a simple goal: help you notice your life and share gratitude. Each day, you get a moment to pause and write something you are grateful for, along with a bit of daily wisdom and affirmation. I am experimenting with a new custom Nostr event kind (36669) for this. It is meant to be a reflection kind focused on daily gratitude. I am still shaping what it should look like, but the direction feels right and I would love feedback from the community. If you want to share publicly, you can post a version of your reflection as a kind 1 note alongside the daily teachings. Sharing is optional. The heart of the experience is about cultivating gratitude, not broadcasting everything you think or feel. I also added a feature that sends a small sats gift to a random active user on Nostr. You do not pick who receives it. You press the button and your gratitude goes out into the world. Someone opens their notifications and finds a surprise. I tried to make it fully anonymous, but with the current zap flow the sender still shows up. I will keep working on that. Even with this limitation, it feels like a fun experiment in generosity. ⚡️ My goal is to build a small corner of Nostr where gratitude is the common thread. Something calm, intentional, and useful. I am curious what this could become and what you think would make it better. Give it a try and let me know your thoughts. 🫂 🙏
