I’ve been a little quiet because I’ve been working on something kind of new. I got this ‘temple style’ top years ago, and thought I’d better get a pattern out of it before I forget. I like it but it’s in really heavy cotton, so not very light. I thought I’d like the same thing but floatier but in back, so if I wore a tank top beneath it it would subtly show through. #Sewing

Next time I hear a Republican talk about patriotism or tradition or anything that even has the slightest whiff of ‘conservative’ values, I want a reporter to be there, showing them a picture of Trump tearing down half of the White House. Because that fucking dog won’t hunt a second longer. The motherfucker is LITERALLY tearing it all down. I just can’t fathom why Americans aren’t fucking rioting in the streets - ESPECIALLY the ones calling themselves ‘conservative’.

So, over on Bluesky, I got berated as a ‘centrist’ for attending the #NoKings rally in my city. If you’re so ‘far left’ that you won’t turn out to condemn the Trump regime, then, quite frankly, you’re like a basement bound incel with a bigger vocabulary.

I’m off to the #NoTyrantsMalaga rally - the EU version of the #NoKings protest in support of Democracy in the US and around the world. I had a moment of hesitation. A moment of doubting whether my presence would make any difference. I am not sure what this hesitation means, but I know for sure that it needs to be packed down into the flakey part of me, and ignored. We’ve got to do this everywhere. LOT of vulnerable people in the world depend on everyone standing up. So let's go… see you!!!
