Perhaps, having lived in a developing country, I have some insight into how one constructs oneโs work and life in anticipation of infrastructure failure.
Looking at what climate change is doing to the weather, and what bat-shit crazy leaders are doing to their nations, hereโs my advice: assume everything can fail.
Decide what failures might endanger your life, your work, your well-being, your comfort - in that order.
Address the first one first, then work down the list.

This. Forever.
Please repeat it as often as you need to in order to escape the gravity well of repetition, gaslighting and constant normalising.
You absolutely DONโT need to know โwhat crazy thing he said this timeโ.
Eschew the spectacle.

Some blunt talk for our American neighbours at the Halifax International Security Forum.
RE:
There is only one reason why both Russia and the US under Trump are chomping at the bit to break the EU apart and that is because, together, we are a significant threat to their corrupt version of a world order.
Parties in Europe clamouring to help Russia and the US succeed are, quite frankly, traitors to their own states.
Whether theyโre doing it for ideological or financial reasons (probably for both), they are knowingly placing their own citizens in a position of subordination.
