Thanks CBC for sending your lawyers after me for including your PUBLIC podcasts in Podcast Addict! Like every podcast app, we don’t host any content—we simply index public feeds. If you don’t want your shows in apps, mark them PRIVATE. End of story.

And yet again Google has suspended Podcast Addict. Now the app is supposed to be in violation of the Violen Extremism policy. And the screenshot they provide is just a search result screen of some live radio screen. Can someone help me understand what's wrong in the screenshot???

The app here retrieved the episodes and because some information was missing (ie the episode duration) the app retrieved the information. The analytics /logs are reporting this as a download, but this was the Android Metadata retrieval API extracting the duration from the backlog episodes. If this information was provided or if the episodes were added using the pagination mechanism, then not a single episode files would have been called here
