1/8 I'm noticing something in the online discourse. There was plenty of discussion about the shooting of Renee Good in conservative spaces, but not much disagreement about whether it was lawful. That is not the case with Alex Pretti.
1/3 If lawful carry serves as a justification for lethal force, then we don't actually have a right to carry. A right that can be used as a retroactive justification for killing a person exercising it is not a right in any meaningful sense. You could build a broad coalition on that.
