I'm so tired of FOSS apps adding every possible feature and settings to configure everything. It really destroys the UX for users and makes it hard for new users to use the application effectively. It's hard to contribute effectively to these applications because contributions are more likely to introduce bugs, harder to discuss and harder to test. I'd kind of like to fork them, switch to the proper default and remove the setting, just so you can actually use them.

The ability to fork and add features that the original author does not want to add is such an underrated thing.

After the success with STF, we were discussing new funding ideas for #GNOME

After almost a year since the last release, a new version of #Eyedropper is now available. It now features a color editor, allowing to directly modify picked colors, a new warning page for unsupported systems (Thanks to @npub10ewf...chty for the illustration) and a rewritten color conversion backend. The new version should be available on Flathub soon. #GNOME #GNOMECircle

In the data that #Hieroglyphic uses to classify #TeXLaTeX symbols, all of these are symbols are used to classify λ. Other symbols have similar data issues, I guess that explains why the classification is sometimes suboptimal.

Small UI update for muting hashtags in #Moshidon. Also, choosing a duration for how long hashtags are muted. Happy to hear feedback on the row descriptions. I'm a bit unsure about their wording and clarity

The more I write and maintain code, the more I appreciate the simplicity of not adding features.
