I’m one of the more than two-thirds of Americans who has lost trust in the mass media. For decades, I’ve been fed up with being manipulated by corporate news, empty partisan rhetoric and "soundbite-worthy rhetoric" that is designed to polarize, not inform.
This isn't about left versus right; it's about profit versus truth. This channel is my attempt to cut the shit.
My goal is to educate the public by systematically dissecting the architecture of influence in corporate-sponsored news. Together, we will move beyond partisan blame and examine the tangible structures of ownership and control that have broken the relationship between the press and the public.
This is the home for the "Disenfranchised Rebuilder" the civically engaged citizen who is tired of the noise and is looking for clarity, agency, and solutions.
