I decided the OP_RETURN 'threat' was a nothingburger after listening to this
I ended up on the side of Core then, but now there is BIP-119 which aims to allow a sender to restrict how you can spend bitcoin once it is in your wallet. Apparently supported by 66 devs... could as well be 666 👹
IMHO if implemented, Bitcoin can no longer be called freedom money.
Curious to hear other opinions. In general the issue needs more publicity.
