"Nadler said that if Trump were sincere about protecting Jewish people he would root out the 'numerous antisemites he has appointed to some of the highest positions in government'”. #USPol
Read this, weep, refuse to comply, & don't be paralyzed by the evil. "I understand that we have an immigration problem. I do," Riggs said. "I understand that our country cannot harbor every single person that crosses its borders. I understand that there are really bad people that we have to find." But starting w/a 73-year-old grandfather who has a #heart condition & who is the primary caretaker of his wife w/#dementia is not the solution, she said. #Fascism #USPol
"One of many #Holocaust remembrance articles taken down as part of the Hegseth’s effort to rid Pentagon platforms of anything related to DEI. . . . Also removed was an article on Bea Arthur, the Jewish “Golden Girls” star who served in the Marines during World War II." May the ghost of #BettyWhite haunt you fascists every day & night. These are the people, I mean #Nazis, who say they want to protect Jews from #antisemitism? Give me an effin' break. #USPol
Vivian Jenna Wilson, Goddess: "He's a pathetic man-child. Why would I feel scared of him? Ohhh, he has so much power. Nah, nah, nah. I don't give a f**k. Why should I be scared of this man? Because he's rich? Oh, no, I'm trembling. Ooh, shivering in my boots here. I don't give a f**k how much money anyone has. I don't. I really don't. He owns Twitter. Okay. Congratulations." #TransRightsAreHumanRights
There are many caveats (sample size, for ex) but this is very good: "Everyone in this study was destined to develop #Alzheimer’s disease and some of them haven’t yet,” said senior author Randall J. Bateman, a prof of neurology at WashU Medicine, in a statement from the university. “We don’t yet know how long they will remain symptom-free—maybe a few years or maybe decades.” Hands off the #NIH!
