On one hand, it feels like we are on the precipice of so many things right now. Huge epic things, both good and bad.
On the other hand, it seems like we have ALWAYS been on the verge.
So why does everything feel soooo utterly consequential right now?

I'm calling this out.
Surely an unemployed dock worker relying on cosigning personal items to pay bills is MUCH further away from "half way there". I lived them and the 80's were not really all much better than now.
Broke down and "turned on the heat" last night - AKA - switched my miner exhaust from venting outside to venting inside. Problem is it still isn't quite cold enough outside yet, so today I also have windows cracked open . It is still dang toasty in the living room!
