So, has anybody else experienced or heard of attempted fraudulent bank charges from a company called "Respontika"? I've heard anecdotally that banks have been dealing with these by the thousands over the past month or two. From what I could see, Respontika is some online scam offering personality tests/online horoscopes. The normal scam is they charge a dollar for their "service", then attempt to pull anywhere from $15 to $40 after the fact and hope they get away with it. But the stories I'm now hearing are that people who had nothing to do with Respontika, who never signed up for their shitty online personality test, are also getting hit with the same effects. First a one dollar transaction that slips the net, and then an attempted charge of $40 that recently is getting flagged as fraudulent by default. Looking into Respontika as a legal entity, they're registered in Delaware (though not as an LLC, so I don't know how anonymous it is). But it seems weird to me that the bank fraud behaviour is extending to completely unrelated people who haven't touched their shitty website.
I'll give Silksong this much, they know how to communicate a sense of scale. Both visual, physical scale and also the scale of the game. Finally beat Last Judge, got entrance to the Citadel... already played what felt like a very meaty amount of gameplay, and then I am informed that it was all only Act 1, and Act 2 is next, which a whole new set of areas almost the same size and scale as all of the areas I just cleared and fully explored. This game is a fucking steal at the price it is. God bless Team Cherry.
Last Judge is kicking my ass repeatedly, fuck I hate this game (i actually love this game)
This weekend, Terror Stalks the Night! And it reeks of skooma! Treshtog has suddenly found himself a vampire, and damned if it isn't actually an improvement. And all it'll cost is the occasional culling of the homeless population. "Let's Play: Oblivion, starring Treshtog the Skooma Orc [Part 9]" is this Saturday, August 18th, only on PeerTube WHEN: WHERE: image
So apparently Framework laptops are now considered "fashtech". ngl, that's a fucking sick name. I want to mock up some advertising stills for "Fashtech Laptops"
