I *need* a tarantula

The comnotation around supposed bothers me. I often have to add "I think" or "I suppose" even though the nature of suppose implies a nature of doubt/questioning. But "it's supposed to be a charm" sounds like a strong personal assertion and I used to get funny looks for it,
