People can't tell me that it's not possible to make the world accessible for disabled people, after the whole world has been made accessible to cars.

#JulyIsDisabilityPrideMonth, also for @GNOME
As a small gesture against ableism and for disability rights, the GNOME accounts have changed their avatars to include the disability pride flag. Like the years before, apps.gnome.org has also changed its design.
GNOME is a political project that wants to make computers accessible for as many people as possible. That naturally means that GNOME supports it's disabled users and contributors and fights for disability rights.

July is #DisabilityPrideMonth
Wait, disability ... pride? Why would someone be proud to be disabled?
One of the most important aspects of disability pride for me is to counter the shame. The shame of โbeing different,โ the shame of โneeding help,โ the shame of โbeing a burden,โ the shame from the humiliation and abuse I have experienced.
Disability pride gives me the chance to counter the shame by saying, โI am disabled, and I am proud to exist and be who I am.โ

I would love to hear what other projects have in place to prohibit AI contributions.
If you don't have anything yet, feel free to use my text as a starting point. Thanks to @npub1zngf...fgsk for pointing out the missing license.

Loupe no longer allows generative AI contributions
I just merged an addition to Loupeโs contribution guidelines that bans the use of AI generated content in contributions. For now, I came up with...
GNOME's default Image Viewer (Loupe) no longer accepts AI generated contributions. You can read more about the reasons for my decisions in my discourse post.
I'm planning to adopt the same policy for the rest of the projects I maintain. And I think others should as well.
