Ok. Now had a chance to check and, well, at least some docs do appear to be straight up classic redaction fail. And there are some *interesting* bits here.

Almost every story Weiss greenlit at the Free Press lacked sufficient context. It's kinda their entire schtick.

Senator Durbin has had this explained to him multiple times. Getting rid of 230 doesn't help this, but will make it worse. It will make it impossible for smaller sites to exist (like this one) and will give MORE POWER to companies like Meta and X.
Why would Durbin want to do that?

Children are being exploited and abused because Big Tech consistently prioritizes profits over people.

Guys, victimhood culture is alpha now
Rosen picked the wrong example here. She should have picked 60 Minutes, which also edited Trump to make him look better. Then it would have been apples to apples.
Again, letting Carr off the hook by using a cable news example (not regulated by FCC) is a bad choice.

I recall that over a decade ago, [@barackobama.bsky.social@bsky.brid.gy](

And guess what?
The FCC immediately changed the website to state that the agency is not independent right after Carr's comments!
