Not to get too graphic, but a single 200 yard shot of a small, moving target from an elevated position… That’s not some guy that got angry and bought a gun at Walmart last week. That’s someone who has sighted in a rifle, loads his own ammo so that he knows the grain #, knows how relative weather conditions will factor in, etc. That’s a miss for 99.9% of people but the assassin only had to shoot once. Plus he (presumably a male) had a spot picked out and clear escape as he is still at large. And let’s not pretend like shooting people is easy. I’ve shot deer and it’s extremely hard to stay calm. I can’t imagine the gravity of aiming at a human being.
I'm not sure how your reply would be "graphic" but understand given the current generations sentiment of being triggered. 150m is more likely. I grew up in a community where shooting deer at this range was not uncommon. Loading their own ammo? I disagree wholeheartedly. I hit this range of targets very easily during qualifications in the military with crappy training ammo with iron sights, no optics.... And sighting in iron sights for this range is realitivley easy to learn if you are motivated to learn shooting basics. It doesn't require somebody to be trained. Just an understanding of marksmanship basics. I agree targeting a human is a different requirement of staying calm. I don't understand how you would say this is presumably a male. I grew up with country girls that could shoot as good, if not better, than their brothers.
1000 to 1 odds it’s a male. Name even one female shooter in all of the mass shootings, or any other political assassination in the history of the US. Hitting a deer at 150-200 yards is much different than hitting a guy in the neck. You could be right though. It’s been a few years since I’ve been to the range. I’ve shot .223 at long range before, like 400-500 yards. But that’s multiple shots at a target sheet. I don’t think I could hit a 3 inch pattern, for instance.
Absolutely. This person who tried to silence the truth today just amplified it. The hit may have taken out Charlie, but it ignited a fire in millions of people, especially younger people, who have just sustained an attack and will fight back. The way to fight back is to keep speaking truth. The demons who perpetrated this attack will never win.
Lol. It's not hard for my 15 year old son, it's dead easy for me, and I only shoot a few times per month. For all we know he aimed for the head and hit the neck, or aimed for center mass andisded, hitting the neck. Nobody aims for the next, but even so, a 6" target st 200 is possible on open sights, not hard with a red dot, and on 2-6x, easy as shit.
i'm not perfect. just funny that now that it isn't obvious the shooter is a "left wing nutjob" and is a young white male again (surprise surprise) Marty now has had a chance to "chilled a bit and reflected more" The correct response is to admonish the person who actually made the mistake here, which was marty jumping to conclusions and making a very widespread post as if what he was saying was fact. Instead you admonish the person who points out the issue. Shrug
I find it insane that a friend of mine not on NOSTR said the same "professional hit" narrative. I find it pathetic that people make these lofty claims given the scant information and facts at hand. Provide some OSINT to back your claims or take your tin foil hat off. Speculating does nothing but sow hate and discontent in an already boiling system. We need to come together. Not divide. Whether it is the USA or the entire world, there is no advantage for people to be against each other. It only benefits governments and rich people. So knock the shit off.
