Wtf fountain = nostr 😱

the internet’s big moments: search engines, smartphones, social media, content platforms, streaming, bitcoin, crypto, big data, and ai. this is another big one. first, it connects and redefines many of the above. second, it breaks down the silos and makes the internet more like real life - where we talk to friends wherever the hell we want 🤙⚡️

Today I talked to a web developer with whom I'm working with a lot about nostr. I recently sent him @Lyn Alden|s article about the nostr ecosystem. And while he found the idea cool, he was sceptical whether nostr would gain traction outside of the bitcoin bubble... I spoke to him about the possibility for an app to immediately tap into an existing user base through integration with nostr. And behold and see, this is now exactly what @Fountain has done!!

On a separate note, whet do people feel about Samson Mow’s claim that the few number of relays make nostr centralised and susceptible to attack?? I feel he’s got a point but really want to know what more knowledgeable people think. Thanks.
