Australia’s Digital ID System is well on the way. They will force social media platforms to identify Users after shoving through their misinformation bill, this was already flagged under the Morrison government. #nostr will be the refuge if #AUStriches want to communicate online outside of having their speech tied to government identity.

This exact scenario is why I started making altnet into a series of posts (actually inspired by South Koreas ID to use internet bill which was struck down in 2012) Australians, learn Delay Tolerant Networking, and WISP (Wireless Internet Service Providers) these are search terms.
